Head On Collision Claims Two Lives Near Vinemont

VINEMONT-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Vinemont on Monday, July 2.  The accident has claimed two victims:

 “A two-vehicle crash at 2:30 p.m. today, July 2, has claimed two lives. Shirell Clyde Hyatt, 90, of Vinemont was seriously injured when the 2002 Honda Accord he was driving collided head on with a 2015 Ford Mustang driven by Dalton Edward Wade, 20, of Gardendale.

Mr. Hyatt died of his injuries while in route to Huntsville Hospital. Alma Nail Hyatt, 84, of Vinemont was pronounced dead at the scene. Wade was not injured.

The crash occurred on U.S. 31 in Vinemont. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
