Bobby Joe Thomas 78, of Dellrose,TN died Friday, June 29, 2018 at Maury Regional Hospital, Columbia, Tennessee.
Born Thursday, September 21, 1939 in Madison, AL, he was the son of the late Milton Lonzo Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Thomas.
Survivers include his wife, Margie Thomas, Decatur, AL; step-sons, Kevin Owens, Ardmore, AL, and Tim Counts, Decatur, AL; step-daughter, Cindy (Wes) Sides, Moulton, AL; brothers, Robert Thomas, Winchester, TN, Billy (Sandra) Thomas, Lynchburg, TN; sister – Glenda Barnes, Madison, AL; step-grandchildren, Trucker Stapleton, Culman, AL; Heather Stapleton, Moulton, AL; Abi Counts, Decatur, AL; and Olivia Counts, Decatur, AL.
The Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 4:00 PM with Lee Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Elliott Cemetery, Ardmore, TN.
