John Clifton Henderson – Obituary

John Clifton Henderson of Pulaski passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018. He was born on April 17, 1936 and was 82 years old.
He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. He was a graduate of Athens College, member of First United Methodist Church in Winfield, Alabama, worked as a claims specialist for State Farm Insurance, a member of the Winfield Masonic Lodge, and an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 2nd from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
A Masonic Service followed by the Funeral Service will take place at 3:00pm on Monday, July 2nd in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Rainey and Edna Elizabeth Chambers Henderson and two sisters, Dorothy Ferguson and Libby Barnes.
He is survived by his,
wife, Susie Laverne Claud Henderson of Pulaski
Son, John (Laura) Henderson of Arizona
Daughter, Dawn (Jack) Box of Alabama
Son, Ethan Henderson of Texas
Grandchildren, Whitney (Jason) Meyer of Massachusetts, Lauren (Eric) Turpin of Georgia, Jack Henderson of Tennessee, Max Drachler of Arizona, Zoe Drachler of Arizona, Haley Box of Nevada, Abby Box of Nevada, Madelyn Box of Tennessee.
Great-grandchild, Everett Turpin of Georgia
Several Nephews, Nieces, and friends also survive
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for John Clifton Henderson.
