Charles Daniel Watts, Sr. – Obituary

Charles Daniel Watts, Sr., age 91, of Graysville, Alabama passed away June 29, 2018 at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham. He served in the United States Navy and United States Air Force during World War II, retired from US Steel, and served as a deacon at New Beginnings Community Church.

A graveside service is Monday, July 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Winston Memorial Cemetery.

He is survived by his children, Danny (Kaye) Watts, Rick Watts, Linda (Ken) Hughes; grandchildren, Wendy A. Watts, Charlie (Rebecca) Newfield, Chris Watts, Scott (Hollie) Watts, Brandie (Scott) Watts and Kayla (Scott) Tucker; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Lacey Watts; wife, Frances Kathryn Watts and infant daughter, Mary Ann Watts; brothers and sisters, Irene Hilton, Odie Watts, Edward Watts, Imogene Pitts and Virgie Dupree.
