Teddy Wayne Wyatt – Obituary

Teddy Wayne Wyatt went to be with the Lord June 28, 2018 after a short illness. He had a 32nd degree Mason and was a member of the Ebenezer Lodge for 49 years. He graduated from Scotts Hill High School and was a member of First Baptist Church in Scotts Hill.
Teddy was born in Liberty Community of Decatur County, Tennessee on June 23, 1943 to Jim and Sue Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Sue Wyatt; his wife, Paulette Mangrum Wyatt; and his favorite horse, Sorrley.
Teddy, known far and wide as “Reddy Teddy” was a long haul truck driver for Ligon and National Carriers. He was employed by Jones Brothers Construction and retired from Procter and Gamble.
Ted loved God’s creation, loved life, and he loved people. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved trail rides. He was a great help to many of his neighbors in the Pinson Community.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Carolynn Maness Wright Wyatt, her two children, Leigh Ann Broome (Terry) and Mitchell Wright (Dina); and his daughters, Pam Ivey (Jeff) and Vicki Crider (Paul).
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Brian Ivey, Cassie Kizer (Jordan), Ethan McKenzie, Hayden Crider, Mason Crider, Chloe Crider, Rebekah Crider, and Patrick Crider, as well as twenty great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill, Tennessee Saturday, June 30, 12:00 noon until 8:00 PM and Sunday, July 1 from 9:00 AM until time of service at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Henderson County Memory Gardens in Lexington.
