Elizabeth Ann Hill, 73, of Trinity passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 on her birthday at her home surrounded by family. Visitation will be from 1 till 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Bro. Ed King officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Liz was a Sunday School Teacher for many years at Pine Grove Holy Church of Christ and a volunteer at Parkway Hospital. She loved traveling and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Ricky Smith (Nancy); Rhonda West (Curtis), Beverly Montgomery (Tony) all of Moulton, and Tammy Shelton (Mark) of Pontotoc, Miss.; grandchildren, Josh Shelton, Miranda Nappier (Brandon), Kasey West, Hailey Patterson (Tyler), Kayla Campbell (Adam), Chassidy Edney (Ryan), and Sydney Shelton; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Aaron Smith (Phyllis), Darrel Smith (Diane), Shelia Spigle (Yon), and Sherry Sain; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, H. Leon Hill; parents, James and Angie Smith; and brother, James M. Smith.
Pallbearers will be Josh Shelton, Brandon Nappier, Tyler Patterson, Adam Campbell, Ryan Edney, and Nick Spigle.
The family extends special thanks to the NHC Therapy and Techs, Kindred Hospice, and her caregivers, Michelle Glasco and Catherine Loosier.
