Willie Clayton “W.C.” Embrey – Obituary

Mr. Willie Clayton “W.C.” Embrey, age 70, of Arab, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Embrey was born on November 2, 1947 in Madison County to Willie Pearson Embrey & Mamie Louise Sloan Embrey. He served in U.S. Army during WWII and earned a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Metal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal and an Army Commendation Medal. Mr. Embrey was a row crop farmer and also worked with the Road Department, Marshall County District 1 as a welder. He enjoyed reading and gardening in his spare time.
Mr. Embrey was a member of Gilliam Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sister, Verna Embrey Jackson; nephew & his wife, Jay Jackson & Laurie; great nephew, Luke Jackson; host of cousins.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother: Mike Rester, officiating. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
