Gloria Elaine Murphy Biggs 83, of Decatur passed away Thursday June 28, 2018 in Huntsville. She was born June 28, 1935 in Cotaco to Lemeul E. Murphy and Vernard Day Murphy. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Pete Biggs; two daughters, Sandy Davis and Angie Biggs. She is survived by two sons, David Davis of Franklin, Tennessee; Steve Davis, Orlando, Florida; daughter, Leslie Lentz of Decatur, Alabama; two brothers Bobby Murphy of Falkville, Alabama and Lamar Murphy of Wisconsin; also a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. A private family graveside will be held at Decatur City Cemetery. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
