Thera Mae Rodgers Defoor, age 79, of Haleyville, Alabama passed away June 26, 2018 at Haleyville Healthcare and Rehab. She was a homemaker and a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Haleyville.
Visitation is Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville. Funeral service is Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial in Ephesus Cemetery. Officiating the service are Brian Hutcheson and Joe Spillers.
She is survived by her children, Danny (Rhonda) Defoor, Kevin (Cindy) Defoor, and Susie (Jeff) Taylor; sisters, Vivian Nicholson, Dean Hallman and Gwen Scott; brothers, Ed Rodgers, Jimmy Rodgers, Rayburn Rodgers, Tony Rodgers, and Joe Rodgers; grandchildren, Stacy (Jesse) Fuson, Stephen (Jana) Defoor, Jessica (John) Collinwood and Joseph (Britny) Taylor; great grandchildren, Zander Fuson, Payton Taylor and Parker Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Annie Lou Butler Rodgers; husband, JW Defoor; brothers, J.W. Rodgers and Tommy Rodgers; sister, Clara Nell Rodgers.
