Joyce Flanagan Berry, 77, of Town Creek was born November 3, 1940 and passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018. Visitation will be Sunday, June 24, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mark Mayfield officiating. Burial will be at Shaw Cemetery.
Joyce was a native of East Colbert County and was a retired auditor with Bank Independent for 43 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, R. Wayne Berry; parents, George H. and Evon Patterson Flanagan; sister, Sandra Flanagan Campbell; brother, Harvey H. Flanagan; nephew, Bennett C. Flanagan; and sister-in-law, Anne Free Flanagan.
Joyce is survived by her son, Phillip W. Berry of Town Creek; granddaughters, Renea N. Berry of Russellville and Emily C. Berry of Los Angeles, CA; brothers, Wayne Flanagan, Clinton Flanagan, Doyle (Donna) Flanagan, Greg (Lorrie) Flanagan, and John (Jeana) Flanagan all of Town Creek; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Nathan and Nick Flanagan, Burlen Durham, Mark White, Daniel Parker, and James “Hook” Crowden.
