James Bryant Foster, Sr., age 93, of Summertown, TN passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Stauffer Chemical Company, and a member of Summertown Church of Christ where he served as an Elder for 40 years. Mr. Foster was also a member of the Summertown Civic Club and the overseer of Summertown Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Cyrus and Thelma Bryant Foster; his wife, Elois Foster; and three sisters, Marie Buie, Ethelene Staggs, and Sue Taylor.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, June 25, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 26, 2018, with Ricky Glass and Jeff Durham officiating. Interment will follow at Summertown Cemetery in Summertown, TN.
