Funeral service for Betty Jean Riner, 82, will be Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Geoff Halbrooks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mt Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 22, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Riner died on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born September 2, 1935, in Cullman County to Clarence Young and Merle Martin Young. Mrs. Riner was a homemaker, always taking care of her family, who she loved and cherished. She loved to cook, bake and quilt. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ben Riner, her parents, her daughter: Rita Riner and three sisters: Alice Peek, Shirley Dye and Barbara Stinson.
