George Franklin Hubbard, 55, of Russellville, Alabama passed away Monday, June 18, 2018, at Russellville Hospital. Mr. Hubbard was a native of Franklin County, Alabama, and a member of Antioch CME church, Russellville.
The funeral service will be Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 2:30 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with Christy Gill officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Hubbard; mother, Ida C. Hubbard; children, Shahalia Jones and Tony Freeman (Amanda); brothers, James Clay (Callie), Tyrus White (Malinda) and Lawson Hubbard (Judith); sister, Ida Hubbard Elliott; grandchildren, Renee Jones, Myesha Goodwin, Jaiden, Raigen and Maicen Freeman; great-grandchildren, Branae and Braylah Jones; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Landers Hubbard and son, George Hubbard, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Charles Graham, Kenneth Hubbard, Bobby Hamilton, Richard Graham, Harold Northington and Clarence Bates. Honorary bearers are Fletcher Scott, Jr. and Charles Martin.
