Bedeaux Wesaw – Obituary

Mr. Bedeaux Wesaw, 65, of Arab passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at his residence.

BeDeaux Rivers “Ghost” Wesaw was born in Fort Washakie, Wyoming to George Wesaw Sr. and Isabell Tindall Wesaw on May 31, 1953.  He went to school on the Wind River Reservation. He married Vanessa S. Howard Wesaw on Aug. 1, 2012 in Marshall County.  He worked as a probation officer and youth counselor on the Wind River Reservation.  He enjoyed spending time with granddaughters, Jade and Jazmyn.  He also enjoyed Native beadwork, crafting moccasins and dreamcatchers and also making pipes and flutes.  He was an enrolled member of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe.

BeDeaux was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, Vanessa S. Howard Wesaw, children, Rebecca Monique Wesaw, Red Starr Lee Wesaw, Heshla Pa Ciny, Iron Hawk Christopher Wesaw, Phillip C. Howard Wesaw, Kaylee E. Howard Wesaw, Kaylee Howard Wesaw and Nataya Sellaeg Wesaw; brother, George Wesaw Jr.; sister, Audry Ward and 14 grandchildren.

The family of Mr. Wesaw wished to extend our sincere thanks to Hospice of Cullman County.
