Sandra Faye Moore of 28751 Wooley Springs Rd, Athens, Alabama was born August 19,1947, in Athens, Alabama to Johny Eugene Eaves and Ellie Mae Widner Eaves. She departed this earthly home on June 18, 2018.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years William Donald Moore, two sons, William Chadwick and Hayes Moore of Charleston, South Carolina and John Patrick Moore and Bethany Nunn of Charleston, South Carolina, two granddaughters, Kathryn Eaves and Frances Griffin Moore of Charleston, SouthCarolina, and several cousins. She had been a faithful Christian since her baptism over 50 years ago; attending several congregations as her family moved around and most recently a member of the Bethel church of Christ in Athens. She retired from NASA in 2009 after a successful career with the several different agencies of the federal government.
Visitation will be Friday, June 22,2018, from 11 to 1 PM, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be Friday, June 22, 2018, At 1 PM at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Arthur Pigman officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery, Athens, Alabama
