Sarah Louise, 94, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 in Decatur. Sh was born to Earl and Ruth Vinson Hall on the Sid Hall farm in the Mount Hope community of Lawrence County, Alabama. She lived most of her adult life in Decatur.

Among other things, Louise loved the color red, photos of anyone and everyone, fried fish, onions, burgers, watermelon, and coffee. And, of course, her family and friends. She could, at times, surprise you with her quick wit and fun sense of humor.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ruth Hall; husband, Herbert Fretwell; brothers, Eldred Hall and Bill Hall; and sisters-in-law, Catherine Hall and Mary Hall.

She is survived by her brother, Ray Hall (Anita); sister, Jo Ann Walker (Ray); and sister-in-law, Kitty Hall. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Steve Hall, Kenny Hall, Keith Walker, Phil Walker, Craig Walker, and Marty Shelton.

The family would like to give special thanks to the ones at River City Center who were so loving and caring toward Sarah Louise during her time there.
