Mrs. Catherine F. Shirley, age 84, of Lester Drive, Boaz, died on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Marshall Medical Center South.
Service will be held on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at two o’clock p.m. at the Chapel of McRae Funeral Home with Bro. Lewis Smith and Bro. Ryan Bristow officiating. A private interment will be held in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Shirley was born in Dekalb, Alabama on December 28, 1931 to Jay & Idell Harris Freeman. She retired from Marshall Dekalb Electric Cooperative.
Mrs. Shirley is survived by her Husband: Roy Wallace Shirley of Boaz, Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Roy Mark & Vikki Shirley of Dothan and Michael J. & Angela Shirley of Boaz, Grandchildren: Ashley Kubitz (Conner), Austin Jay Shirley, Mary Jane Burnham and John Burnham, Great Grandson: Oliver Word.
