Michael Moore Watson, 47, of Rogersville died Sunday, June 10, 2018.
Visitation will be Friday, June 15, 2018, 6-8 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 16, 2018, 11 AM in the chapel with Greg Dial and Tony Quillen officiating. Burial will be at Center Star Cemetery.
Michael loved God, his family, and friends, being a Union brother, and Alabama Football. He also loved being a youth football coach for many years. To every player he ever coached in any sport he loved you like his own. Michael had a big heart, some of his favorite things to do were to watch his boys play ball and run. Spending time with his grandbabies gave him his greatest joy. He was a member of Center Hill Church of Christ and a member of the IBEW Local 558.
Mr. Watson is survived by his wife, Lorien Watson; sons, Mickey Moore Watson, II (Karlie), Justin Neil Watson, and Noah Douglas Watson; grandchildren, Michael Moore Watson, II and James Daniel Watson; parents, Mickey and Marcell Watson; sisters, Tina Stumpf (Brian) and Sharon Hughes (David); several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tony Quillen, Blaine Jones, Darrell Miller, William Crosswhite, Jeff Mason, and Tyler Springer. Honorary pallbearers will be Scotty Behel and David Watson.
