A Celebration of Life service for Jimmy Dean Lamb, 77 of Corinth is set for Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 2:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial to follow in Jerusalem Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 11:00am until 2:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home. Born December 9, 1940 in Tishomingo County, MS ., Jimmy was an owner/operator of a bulldozer service and he loved his work. He was even quoted the “He never dreaded going to work.” Jimmy loved his family and friends and enjoyed riding his side by side UTV, fishing , going to the mountains and storytelling. He was a member of Jerusalem Church of Christ. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 19 years, Dorothy Lamb of Corinth; daughters, Lisa Smith of Hernando, MS. and Christi Price (Chris) of Guys, TN; stepsons, Rickey McCalister ( Renee) of Corinth, MS and Brian McCalister(Mary) of Corinth, MS.; grandchildren, Hayden Smith, Harrison Smith, Anna-Claire Price, Cade Price, Carson Price and Coleman Price; step grandchildren, Casey Brann, Jessica McCalister Hight(Aaron), Hunter McCalister, Austin McCalister and Austin Howard; sister, Joan Poindexter of Corinth; nieces, Nikki Cagle (Derrick), Emily Ferguson: great niece, Kelsey Lambert; best friend and companion- his lab, Jake:
other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Oliver Lamb and his mother, Verdie Rhodes Lamb. His grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Minister David Lynch will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Jimmy Dean Lamb.
