Louise Howell Doyle, 97, of Bolivar
She was born in Hornsby on Wednesday, May 4, 1921 to the late Earnest Scott Howell and Odie Lee Colburn Howell. After her mother’s passing at the age 6, her father was married to Minnie Idell Sisco Howell, who also preceded her in death.
She was a loving homemaker and long-time member of the New Bethany church of Christ.
Mrs. Doyle is survived by a daughter, Ruby (Sam) Hannis of Bolivar; two sisters, Dean (Ed) Pipkin of Memphis and Margarette Brumbelow of Middleton; a brother, Bill (Doris) Howell of Middleton; five grandchildren, Teresa (Rickey) Tigner, Donnie (Teresa) Howell, Tina Woody, Dwayne (Angie) and David (Amy) Hannis; 12 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and step-mother, she was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Levoid Howell; and a brother, Earnest Howell.
Memorials may be sent to the New Bethany Church of Christ or Reaves Cemetery.
