Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Dyer Stanfill, age 92, are scheduled for 2 PM, Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Mrs. Stanfill passed away early Sunday in Lexington. She was born September 5, 1925 in Sardis to the late Jacob and Emily Chalk Dyer. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Sardis Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, playing dominos with friends, working crossword puzzles, and worked in her yard until she was 90 years old. She especially enjoyed phone conversations and visits with her friends and neighbors. Survivors include her two nephews, Bobby W. Dyer (Gail) of Lexington and Bill Dyer of Jackson; two great nephews, Jeff Dyer (Angie) of Jackson and Richard Dyer (Laura) of Lexington; two great nieces, Karen Dyer of Nashville and Natalie Dyer Salmon (Tracy) of Lexington. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Arlie Dyer and Guy Dyer and her sister, Nina Dyer.
