One Dead After Two-Vehicle Accident In Limestone County

FLORENCE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a traffic fatality that occurred on Monday, June 11.  The two-vehicle accident happened on Monday morning in Limestone County:

“A two-vehicle crash at 5:15 a.m. today, June 11, has claimed the life of an Athens man.

Jonathan Adam Cook, 31, was killed when the 2006 Suzuki motorcycle he was operating collided with a 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche at the intersection of U.S. 72 and Seven Mile Post Road. Cook was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup was not injured.

The crash occurred seven miles east of Athens. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
