FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department issued a release on a shooting tat took place in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 10. A man was shot and killed near Westmorland and Long:
“At approximately 2:40 am, on 6/10/18, a UNA Police patrol unit heard gunshots coming from the Westmorland and Long Ln area. When officers arrived they found a B/M that had been shot laying in the street. Officers applied medical aid and he was transported to ECM and pronounced dead on arrival. One other person was shot and had been transported to the ER via private vehicle before officer’s arrival. A third subject was transported to the PD and is being questioned by detectives. Florence Police is working the crime scene at this time.
