Stutts faces runoff election – Lolley manages to stay in the race

COLBERT COUNTY – First term Alabama State Senator, Larry Stutts faces another political hurdle before the November General Election in his bid for a second term as Senator from the 6th District. Stutts will face Hamilton financial consultant, Steve Lolley in a July 17 primary election runoff.

The June 5th Republican primary saw three candidates in contention for the chance to meet Red Bay Democrat, State Representative, Johnny Mack Morrow. In addition to Stutts and Lolley, Eric Aycock was in contention. Aycock came in 3rd place with just over 24 percent of the vote.

Stutts garnered 47.1 percent, and Lolley 28.6.
