Larry Young – Obituary

Larry Young of Pulaski passed away on June 2, 2018, in Nashville, TN. He was born in Nashville on February 25, 1946 and was 72 years old.
He worked as a teacher for 39 ½ years at Prospect and Giles County High School, where he taught English and speech. He was an avid tennis and golf player, loved collecting classic cars, and attended Cool Springs Church of Christ. He was a charter member of the P.A.C.E. Car Club.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 5th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, June 6th at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Chaney officiating.
Burial will take place in Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial Donations are suggested to the Giles County Public Library, 122 South Second Street, Pulaski, Tennessee 38478.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben Franklin and Mary Louvene Young
He is survived by his,
Wife, Betty Wheeler Young of Pulaski
Brothers, Harold (Ruth) Young of Lawrenceburg
Glenn Young of Texas
Sister, Patricia Young (Paul) Minatra of Pulaski
Nieces, Angela (Tracy) Wilsford of Lewisburg
Jordan (Josh) Kirkpatrick of Pulaski
Nephews, Joey (Emily) Young of Lewisburg
Boyd Young of Lewisburg
Nathan (Toni) Wheeler of Nashville
Logan (Molly) Wheeler of Paraguay
Several great nieces and nephews also survive.
