Steve Dickerson – Obituary

Steve Dickerson, better known as “Stevie D”, beloved son of Josh
and Cora Mae Dickerson. He was born January 28, 1959 in Giles
County TN. Steve departed this earth on May 30, 2018. he is preceded
in death by his parents; his brother, Henry Louis Coffey, and sister,
Shirley Ann “Mildred” Coffey.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 Saturday,
June 2nd, 2018, at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. The
funeral service will be 12:00 noon Sunday, June 3rd ,2018, in the
chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. The burial
will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

Steve professed hope in Christ at an early age. He became a member
of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church. Later in life, he moved his
membership to First Missionary Baptist Church. Steve was a faithful
and avid support of the NA and AA organization, where he served as a
sponsor and mentor. He loved watching Western movies. He has had
several employers and left a positive impression with each of them.

He leaves to cherish his memories: (wife) Crystal Thompson
Dickerson, (daughter) Shana (Dustin) Malone, (son) Clifton Lavelle
Houston, Step-daughters: Michaela Gardner, and Makinna Perry.
Four sisters, Annette Reynolds, Pulaski, TN; Linda Rose Dickerson,
Shelbyville, TN; Emily (Eric) Franklin, Pulaski, TN; Ethel (George)
Nicholson, Pulaski, TN. Two brothers, Roger (Kathy) Dickerson,
Pulaski, TN; Cory Dickerson, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

Other devoted loved ones include three grandchildren, Shamari,
Briley, and Alyric. Aunt, Marjorie Frierson, Lawrenceburg, TN.
A host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
for Steve Dickerson.
