Susan Jean Sharpe, age 74, of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee passed away peacefully at her residence on May 30, 2018.
Susan was born on June 27, 1943 to the late James and Frances Elizabeth McCauley. She was the beloved wife of Harold Sharpe. Harold and Susan married in 1981 and were married until his passing in 2016. Susan is survived by her daughters: Charlotte (Brian) Runions, Virginia (Kelly Welker) Vick and Claudia (Elliotte) Kinzer; stepdaughter: Dana (Ricky) LeMay; stepson: Phillip Sharpe; grandchildren: James Michael Owen (Bethany) Gray, McCauley, Audrey, Alice and Elliana Kinzer; step grandchildren: Ashley (Shawn) Anderson, Luceela, Alexis and Alex Cervantes; great grandchildren: Mabry and Calvin Gray and sister: Jean Kriebel of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband: Harold Sharpe; parents: James and Frances McCauley and sister: Nancy Dainus.
Susan was an LPN at Maury Regional Medical Center for 14 years. “Live, Laugh, Love” was Susan’s favorite saying. She made the most of every day with her family and loved ones. She enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren. Everything was a party; she never missed a family party and enjoyed each one immensely. Susan loved to make memories and looking back on special life memories was very important to her. Susan’s Maury Hills church family was very important to her. Above all, she loved her Lord.
The family will visit with friends on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following visitation at 6:00pm.
Honorary pallbearers are past and current members of Maury Hills and her Wednesday night small group as well as the Enterprise Community for their love and support throughout the years.
