Jimmy Michael “Mike” Waddle – Obituary

Jimmy Michael “Mike” Waddle, 57, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born October 26, 1960, in Tupelo to Jimmy Lee and Virginia Loden Waddle. He was a truck driver most recently for Styline, a division of OFS. He was a member of Friendship Methodist Church. He loved fishing with his daughter Jaleesa, watching the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball, and was an avid Mississippi State fan.

A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 3, at the Friendship Methodist Church with the Rev. Darrell Sanderson officiating. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Lynn Waddle; his mother, Virginia Loden Waddle; and one daughter, Michael Jaleesa Campbell (Michael Ethan), all of Fulton; two step-daughters, Tina Curtis (Rodney) of Brandon and Christie Steele of Fulton; a step-grandson, Cory Morrison; one sister, Cynthia Lesley (Dennis) of Mantachie; two nieces, April McDonald (Chris) and Lawana Thompson; a great-nephew, Lane Thompson; aunts and uncles, Mary Nell Fikes (Harold), Sandra McGrew (Dan), Carolyn Long (Johnny), and Tommy Waddle; and several cousins and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Lee Waddle; his grandparents, Dago and Cleo Loden and Bob and Mildred Waddle; and several uncles and aunts.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at Friendship Methodist Church.
