Glyn Steelman age 68 of Athens, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Steelman was born November 15, 1949 in Limestone County, AL to Sam Jenkins Steelman and Mary Elizabeth Turner Steelman.
Services will be Friday, June 1, 2018 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel funeral Home with Bruce Addison officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Mr. Steelman was an avid Alabama football fan. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and going to church.
Preceded in death by his parents; several brothers and sisters.
Survived by his wife, Janice Steelman; children, Kim Steelman, Roseanne Steelman, Wade Steelman, Tammy Koukoulis, and Gary Huffman; grandchildren, Steven, Tyler, Allison, Alexandera, Ryan, Nathan, Shalya and Miranda; brother, Dean Steelman; sisters, Jewell Holman, Pauline Whited and Mary Geary.
