Sarah Nell King, age 78, Russellville, age 78, of Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, at Russellville Hospital.

Sarah was such a kind and loving woman, a true Southern lady. She never saw the bad in anyone, and always had a hug and a smile for everyone. She loved spoiling her family and friends, always having food, cake, or sweet tea ready to offer to anyone who visited her at home. She loved all of her family, but especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the newest little babies. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 01, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 02, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Woodrow Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Phillip King; parents, Mr. & Mrs. James Abner Cook; sister, Myrtle Newton; brothers, James William Cook, Abner Cecil Cook, John Cooke; granddaughter, Elizabeth Frost; and son-in-law, Freddie Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Phillis Johnson of Russellville and Mattie Wright (husband, Ronnie) of Savannah, TN; child of the heart, Steve & Lisa Smith of Clifton, TN; grandchildren, John Johnson, Laura Johnson Gann (Jason “Buck”), Dionna Johnson Tate (Chris), Dale Wright, John Crotts (Melissa), Adam Crotts (Samantha), Shannon Mancell (Joe); great-grandchildren, Justin Wright (Amberly), Logan Wright, Whitney Johnson, Leslie Wright, Brianna Wright, Dustin White, Steven White, Haley Smith (Brandon), Colton Carter, Angel Mancell, Sebastion Mancell, Aiden Crotts, Tyler Crotts, Brycen Crotts, Kaylan Crotts, Cassian Crotts, Mia Gann, MaKayla Gann, Gabrielle Tate, Alexandria Tate, Hannah Tate, Madelyn Tate, Evie & Tanner, and three more on the way; great-great-grandchildren, Lillie Smith, Emma Smith, Samuel Smith, Maddox Wright, Annaleigha White, Justice Wright, Jaden Wright, Emily Rose Wright; and a host of nieces & nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the ER nurses and staff of Russellville Hospital, the ICU nurses and staff of Russellville Hospital, Dr. Chenyi, Dr. Lindsey, and Dr. Knowles for your loving care and kindness to our family.
