Traffic hit a cotton-pickin’ hard time on Jackson and Hatch in Sheffield – VIDEO

SHEFFIELD – Sheffield police and fire units responded with sirens and lights Tuesday afternoon, when traffic was snarled due to an overturned tractor-trailer. No one was hurt in the accident, but tons of cotton seeds on their way to the mill made the roadway look like a snowbank.

It took a while to clean up the mess, but police gave their assurances that the roadway would be open by mid-afternoon.
