Funeral for Mrs. Florence Watson Cornett, of Eva, will be Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Cornerstone Revival Center with Rev. Jeremy Wilbanks, Rev. Jim Hampton and Rev. Gerald K. Sharp officiating. Interment will be in Etha Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church. Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Cornett passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018. She was born January 25, 1929, to Dock Monroe and Lois Robinson Watson. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Monroe Cornett; three brothers, Preston, Basil and Gwayne Watson; sister, Aupoline Lassiter; grandson, Kevin Miller and great-granddaughter, Aleigha Thomson.
She is survived by two sons, Charles Ricky (Denise) Cornett and Gregory (Jamie) Cornett; four daughters, Bonita (Dalton) Miller, Janice Spagnola, Lisa (Donnie) Livingston and Rhonda (Tommie) Moore; 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill (Helen) Watson and Leon (Pauline) Watson and one sister, Freda Sharp.
