Mary “Sue” Zeis, age 74, of Rogersville, AL passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at her residence. She was a native of Blytheville, AR, retired from H & R Block, Director and Counselor at The Shelter for Battered Women; and a Foster Mother for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jefferson H. and Ellen T. Arnold Brees; her husband, John C. Zeis, Jr.; and one son, John “Chip” Zeis, III.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Friday, May 25, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Friday, May 25, 2018, with Tim Akers officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
