David Neal Harris, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the age of 74. His visitation will be Friday, May 25, 2018 from noon to 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Larry Kilpatrick and Russell Blackwell officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
David retired from Motion Industries as an operations manager and was a member of Cox Boulevard Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Eugene Harris, Sr.; mother, Rosalie Spinks Harris; brother, Marvin Eugene Harris, Jr.; and sister-in-law, Ann Harris.
His survivors include his loving wife, Sandra Cork Harris; daughters, Michelle Simpson (Danny) of Tuscumbia and Ann-Marie Wood (Chris) of Franklin, Tennessee; and four grandchildren, Ann Ross and Meredith Simpson and Carson and Kyler Wood.
Pallbearers will be Don Blazer, Travis Hovater, Tommy Brown, Bill Daniels, Donnie Harris and Mike Vaughn.
