Thomas Wayne Bates 77, of Ardmore,TN died Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at his home.
He was born Sunday, February 02, 1941 in Prospect, TN, to Thomas Clifton Bates and Gladys Icy Hill Bates.
He was a member of Ardmore Church of Christ, drove a truck for 29 years with Frito-Lay, and enjoyed spending time with familly and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Peggy Jane Drake Bates, a daughter, twin sister, two half sisters, and a half brother.
He is survived by two daughter, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three neices, and four nephews.
No public services are planned. Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family.
