Albert Chamness – Obituary

Albert Chamness, 57 of Arab, passed away Saturday May 19, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Chamness was born September 3, 1960 in Marshall County to Robert O.L.”Buddy” Chamness and Verta Lou Coker Chamness. He served in the Alabama Nation Guard and previously worked as a supervisor for Hyco Hydraulics in Arab. Mr. Chamness enjoyed fishing; hunting, boating and he loved music, especially playing the drums.
He is survived by his wife: Robyn K. Mitchell Chamness; his son and daughter-in-law: Nickey Albert Chamness and Angie; his father: Robert O.L.”Buddy” Chamness; his brother and sister-in-law: Robert Lee Chamness and Sandy; his sisters: Janet Chamness Martin and Ralph Kelly and Susan Chamness; his granddaughter: Hannah Grace Chamness and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother: Verta Lou Chamness.
Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m. Monday May 21, 2018 with Brother: Randy L. Blakely, officiating. Burial will be in Brashiers Chapel Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Stuart “Smokey” Brook, Mike Achord, Randy Rankin, Stacey Yarbrough, Nikkie White and Ralph Kelly.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday May 21, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel prior to the service.
