Frances Adell Powers age 80 of Athens, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. Powers was born November 30, 1937 in Limestone County, AL to George Brooks and Virgie Florene Pugh Brooks.
Services will be Saturday, May 19, 2018 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel
Funeral Home with Pat Lawrence officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 18, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Powers was a member of Berea Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bobby George Brooks.
Survived by her husband, Wendell Powers of Athens; caregivers, Bert and Lynn Pugh of Athens; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Lee Pugh, Joe Pugh, Mike Powers, Bert Pugh, Jeff Powers and Larry Powers.
