Sarah Ann Parnell, 86, of Florence, went home to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from El Reposo Nursing Facility. A graveside service for friends and family will be held Saturday, March 19, 2018, 10:00am, at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Rev. Donnie McDaniel will be officiating.
Elkins Funeral Home is serving the family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hilton Parnell; parents, George and Doris Bell; brothers, James Gordon Bell and Bill Bell.
She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Richardson (Mark); son, Jim Parnell (Renee’); grandchildren, Heath Parnell (Laura), Barrett Parnell, Tyler Harrison (Jessica), Chris Harrison; great grandchildren, Joseph Parnell, Brylee Harrison, Lila and Harper Harrison; brother, Earl Lee Bell (Pam); sister, Cora Mae Gordon; and many nieces and nephews.
She retired from the Lauderdale County Commission and was a member at First United Methodist Church of Florence.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
