Funeral for Marlon McCoy “00” Shelton, 76, of Trinity will be Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ronald Davis and Rev. Chris Shelton officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, May 18, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Shelton, who died Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at his residence, was born, June 3, 1941, to James Martin Shelton and Mattie Sue Bond Shelton. He was a member of Caddo Congregational Christian Church . He loved to hunt, fish and spending time with his family and grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents and Step-Mother – Edith Bates Shelton
Survivors include:
Wife – Betty Barclay Shelton
3 Sons – David (Mistie) Shelton, Ronnie Shelton and Stephen (Bonita) Shelton
6 Grand Children – Brittney (Chase) Henderson, Cam Shelton, Mary Scott (Tyler) Roberts, Emily Shelton, Samantha Shelton and Zac Shelton
Nephew – Gary Shelton
Niece – Ginger Shelton Terry
and many other nephews and nieces
Pallbearers will be Cam Shelton, Zac Shelton, Chase Henderson, Tyler Roberts, Darrell Patterson and Randall Parker.
Honorary pallbearers will be Marshall Shelton, Duvel Clay, Claude Stephenson and Freddie Gilchrist.
