Helen Osborn, 52, of Courtland left us on Monday, May 14, 2018 to be with Jesus, her mother, her brothers, and many other family and friends that she loved so very much. Helen was born on August 13, 1965 to Floyd Osborn and Ethel Myers Osborn. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Elbert Parker, Leldon Parker and Herschel Osborn.

She is survived by three sisters, Wynell (Ted) Jetton, Joyce Parker and Alma (Odie) McDonald; two brothers, Winford (Jewel) Parker and Buddy (Belinda) Osborn; and sister-in-law, Lisa Osborn.

Helen was special to us all. She was sweet, sassy, spunky, and just a tad stubborn. She loved the Lord, music, singing, dancing, going on picnics, and gatherings with family and friends. She always wanted to be a country music singer with her old guitar that she wanted to play for everyone. She had a great memory. She knew all the country music stars, movie stars, and if she met you she would remember you too. Her all time favorite show was The Dukes of Hazzard and she told everyone that Bo Duke was her boyfriend. She also loved NeSmith’s Hamburgers. Helen was a blessing to our family and she will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be at Elliott Brown-Service Funeral Home at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 19th with Reverend Brandon Kerby and Sister Mary Deloney officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Springs Presbyterian of Mount Hope.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.
