Daisy Jean Waters Busby, of Sheffield, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the age of 83. Her visitation will be Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Dennis Hayford officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Daisy was a native of Elmore County, Alabama, and a longtime resident of Sheffield. She was a member of Cox Boulevard Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rogers Busby; parents; and two sisters.
She is survived by her daughters, Kristy Busby Smith and Kelly Busby Hardeman (Mike); brother, David Daniel Waters, II; sister, Robbie Ann Nabors; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
