Audrey Marie Lynn, age 82, a resident of Columbia, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at Life Care Center of Columbia.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 3-7PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on November 7, 1935 in Nashville, TN, Audrey was the daughter of the late Harold Eugene Thomas, Sr. and the late Thelma Louise Young Thomas Lenhard. She was a passionate member of Trinity Family Church in Columbia. Audrey was also a devoted gardener with a true green thumb who was known for her delicious fruit cakes.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters: Sheila (Ricky) Goldman of Culleoka, Linda (Bryan) Whatley of Roanoke, TX; step sons: Steve (Valerie) Lynn of Culleoka, Doyle Wayne Lynn of Columbia; sisters: Angela Bishop of Ashland City, Anita (Richard) Bayliss of Wayne, MI; grandchildren: Holly (Cody) Dunavant, Joshua Goldman, Raegan Whatley, Rylee Jo Whatley; step grandchildren: Adam (Candi) Lynn and D’Anne (Michael) Waters; great grandchild: Addilyn Dunavant; and step great grandchildren: Blake Lynn, Abygail Lynn, and Lucas Waters.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Lynous Head; daughter: Jackie Theresa Head; step sons: Terry Lynn, Gary Lynn; sister: Alice Mieczkowski; and brothers: John Douglas Thomas and Harold Eugene Thomas, Jr.
