Ronald Fell “Skippy” Brewster – Obituary

Ronald Fell “Skippy” Brewster, 58, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born June 12, 1959 in Denison, Texas, to Charles Henry Brewster and Betty Ann Thrash Brewster. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charles Wayne Brewster and Joseph Matthew “Joey” Brewster.

He is survived by his lifelong companion, Phyllis Ann Gilchrist Brewster; sister, Cynthia Reese (Donald); brother, Carl “Mickey” Brewster (Vicki); nine nieces and nephews, plus 15 great-nieces and nephews.

Mr. Brewster, who was a sign maker and painter, previously owned and operated Brewster Signs. He loved fishing and spending time on the river with family and friends. He found great pleasure in building and operating radio controlled airplanes and boats. He was a kind, generous, loving person who never met a stranger.

Mr. Brewster was cremated. His ashes will be interred during a graveside service on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Gum Springs Baptist Church, Hartselle, with Reverend Pearl Jenkins officiating.
