FLORENCE- The Florence Police Department issued a press statement concerning a death that took place on Wednesday, May 2. This case is being investigated as a homicide. The public has been asked to contact the Florence Police Department with any information:
“On 5/2/2018 Florence Police Patrol Division responded to 754 N Wood Ave on a Medical Assist call at 10:50am. Once they arrived they located a male that was deceased. The male has been identified as Jose Elliott D’Leon. He was located inside his apartment by a friend. Mr. D’Leon is not from this area and there is very little known about him.
We are currently treating it as a homicide investigation, and need the public’s help in filling in some information for us.
