Funeral service for Benard G. Chasteen, 84, will be Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jonathan Proctor officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Chasteen died on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born March 15, 1934, in Morgan County to Thomas Grady Chasteen and Ruthie Auline Vest Chasteen. He was a Draftsman and Inspector for Construction Services, Inc. prior to his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife: Harriet Eleanor Chasteen and his parents.
