Funeral service for Charles Arthur “Big O” Oden, 75, will be Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Falkville First United Methodist Church with Bro. Chuck Oden officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Falkville City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Church.
Mr. Oden died on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born November 15, 1942, in Morgan County to Marvin Oden and Ruby Walling Oden. He was self employed as a logger after serving in the United States Marine Corp in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Forest Hill Baptist Church. His love for family, friends and country was immeasurable. He always went beyond the call of duty in service and in life. He was preceded in death by his parents.
