Nita Jane Osborn – Obituary

Nita Jane Osborn, 53, died Friday, May 11, 2018, at her residence.  She was born in Red Bay, AL on July 25, 1964.  She had worked as a cashier and cook for several years.  She was a member of Vina First Baptist Church, Vina Civitan Club, Vina Fire and Rescue and Burnout Halltown Fire and Rescue.

Funeral services will be Sunday, May 13, at 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Ray Kirk and Bro. Billy Nichols officiating.  Burial will be in Sparks Chapel Cemetery.  Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her daughter-Dannie Leigh Osborn of Vina; her mother-Mary Elizabeth Mitchell of Vina; her brother-William Nelson Mitchell (Pam) of Red Bay; nephews-Josh Mitchell (Hannah) of Belmont and John Gober; niece-Jessica Swinney (Curtis) of Red Bay; four uncles and six aunts.

She was preceded in death by her husband-Danny Keith Osborn; daughter-Tiffany Lynn Osborn; Father-Dexter Mitchell; brother-Michael Dexter Mitchell; grandparents-Magdelene Bishop, Estes Bishop, Winsol and Jewell Mitchell; father and mother-in-law-Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Osborn, sister-in-law-Betty Gober, brother-in-law-Jimmy Osborn.

Pallbearers will be members of the Vina Rescue Squad and Burnout Halltown Fire and Rescue Squad.  Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Mitchell, Paul Mitchell, Lee Bishop and Dwayne McCarley.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 12, from 5-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
