Vida White Royer, 104, died on Tuesday, May 08, 2018, at Whitesburg Gardens, in Huntsville. She was one of 10 children of W.E. and Mary White. She was the last of her siblings.
She married Earl Royer on October 24, 1934 who predeceased her in 1999. They have one daughter, Venita Royer Cobb (Tom) of Huntsville. Mrs. Royer has one granddaughter, Keli Sybert Milford (Freddy) of Hazel Green; and one great-granddaughter, Amber Milford of Huntsville.
She attended the United Methodist church all of her life, and was an active member as long as she was able. She and her husband served over 50 years at Memorial Drive Methodist Church.
A special thanks to the staff of Whitesburg Gardens for their excellent care and making her last years active and interesting. These are very special caregivers and very much appreciated.
Mrs. Royer is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Royer will be on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Visitation will begin one hour prior the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
