Tisha Abigail Wasmund – Obituary

Tisha Abigail Wasmund, age 26, passed away May 1, 2018 in Huntsville. Visitation will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church on Airport Road, Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The day Tisha Abigail Wasmund came into the world, January 30, 1992, stars fell on Alabama. Born to Kelly and Carol (Bilyeu) Wasmund, she joined her older brother, Tyler, into their loving family. Tisha was intelligent, independent, athletic, compassionate, and loved her cats and dogs. She played soccer, softball, was a member of the swim team, and established herself as a little ball of fire. Tisha was a Southern Girl with moxie. She stood up for herself and everyone she loved. Her generous and caring spirit presented itself even after death by being an organ donor.

Tisha graduated from Virginia College in Huntsville in June of 2012 where she was proudly on the Dean’s List with a 4.0 GPA. She was a member of Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society. She graduated from Huntsville High School in Huntsville, Alabama.

Tisha is survived by her mother, Carol Bilyeu Wasmund, and brother, Tyler Dean Wasmund; her grandmother, Joanne B. Hammack, aunts, uncles, and cousins
from Nebraska, aunts, uncles, and cousins from Tennessee, and many friends.

Tisha was preceded in death by her father, Kelly Wasmund, and grandfather, SGM James W. Wasmund, her Tennessee grandmother and grandfather, Anna and Edward Bilyeu.
