Freda Marie Henderson Willis – Obituary

Freda Marie Henderson Willis, 90 of Union Grove, passed away Wednesday May 2, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. Willis was born December 6, 1927 in Morgan County to Mack Dillard Henderson and Leona Catherine Culbreath Henderson. Her husband Huliet Doyle Willis preceded her in death on March 10, 1988. Mrs. Willis graduated from Union Hill High School in 1946. She previously worked for Eaton in Arab. She enjoyed gardening and traveling, dearly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Willis was a member of First Baptist Church Union Grove.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Bobby “Bob Willis and Nancy; her grandchildren: Bryan Willis and Stacey, Kathryn Willis Sandell, Julie Willis Wells and Josh, Brandon Willis and Teri and Kristi Willis and Audra Willis; her great grandchildren: Benjamin Sandell, Daniel Robinson, Brittney Blackmon, Mackenzie Blackmon, Olivia Willis, Brantley Willis, John Long, Brody Willis, Hailey Willis, Brynley Willis and Madalyn Willis; her brother and sister-in-law: J.D. Henderson and Wilma. She was preceded in death by her husband: Huliet Doyle Willis; her son and daughter-in-law: Barry Willis and Susan; her grandson: Matthew Willis; her brother: Ralph Henderson and her sisters: Jesse Seagroves, Imogene Simmons, Vivian Markham, Thelma Durand and Hazel Brown.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 8, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother: Greg Narrell and Mickey Hunt, officiating. Burial will be in Brookwood Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Willis, Brandon Willis, Benjamin Sandell, Brody Willis, Daniel Robinson, Brantley Willis, John Long and Brynley Willis.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday May 7, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
